Visitors to this area will experience nature at its finest!
Rivers, lakes, creeks, abound and the experience is enhanced by the unique Crater of Diamonds State Park.  At the park you can find Diamonds, peridot, garnet, agate, and amethyst. Mt. Ida, a short drive away, is home to some of best Quartz mines in the world.

Also available within a short drive is canoeing, river rafting, horse back riding, fishing and hiking.

Experienced Diamond Diggers are sometimes on hand to explain the Diamond Hunting process such as using screens for classifying Diamond bearing material, using a Saruca screen and other equipment. Searching for Diamonds has all of the excitement of finding Gold in a pan.

Arkansas is a mineral state with Gypsum, Bauxite, Calcite, Barite, Turquoise, Brookite, Quartz Crystals and Wavelite that can be found here.
